The U.S. State Department on Monday approved another 2-point-three-seven billion U.S. dollars' worth of potential arms sales to Taiwan.
According to the Pentagon, the department approved the potential sale of one hundred Boeing-made Harpoon Coastal Defense Systems to Taiwan.
The additional sales to Taiwan come just days after the State Department approved a 1-point-8 billion U.S. dollar deal,...for equipment including sensors, missiles, and artillery.
In response to this, China's foreign ministry has announced that necessary measures will be taken against the U.S.,… including imposing sanctions on U.S. military companies involved in weapons sales.
