China's top diplomat Wang Yi is reportedly planning a trip to Japan next month to sit down with Japan's new Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
Citing multiple sources, Japan's Kyodo News Agency reported Thursday that the two countries are set to reveal a detailed schedule soon.
Wang is expected to discuss Chinese President Xi Jinping's possible visit to Japan.
