중국, 미국에 "티베트 건들지 말라" 강력 항의

Tensions between the U.S. and China are rising once again over Tibet.
The autonomous region in China has long been a source of dispute between the two superpowers,...along with ongoing issues over trade, Hong Kong, and COVID-19.

Mok-yeon, China has strongly warned that the U.S. should immediately stop interfering in its internal affairs referring to Tibet.
The remarks came on Tuesday,... following a meeting between the head of the Tibetan government in exile and a US official.
Last week, Lobsang Sangay, the president of the Tibetan Central Administration,...met U.S. senior official Robert Destro a newly appointed special coordinator for Tibet.
"The so-called special coordinator on Tibet affairs set up by the United States is completely a political manipulation to interfere in China's internal affairs and undermine Tibet's development and stability."
China seized control over Tibet in 1950 in what it called "peaceful liberation".
But international human rights groups have criticized China's oppressive rule.
