S. Korea reports 113 new COVID-19 cases on first day of Chuseok holiday

South Korea reported one-hundred-13 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday,... raising concerns over a virus resurgence during the Chuseok holiday.
The figure rose back to triple digits after five days of staying below one hundred, starting last Saturday.
Of the newly confirmed cases, 93 were local transmissions, and 20 were imported.
The new infections have been concentrated in the capital region, with Seoul, Gyeonggi-do Province, and Incheon city seeing a combined 76 cases.
There were 6 additional deaths, bringing the total to 4-hundred-13.
COVID-19 testing sites and more than 500 emergency medical facilities will be kept open around the clock, throughout the holiday.
