South Korea reported 1-hundred-13 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday,... raising concerns over a virus resurgence during the Chuseok holiday.
The figure rose back to triple digits after five days of staying below one hundred, starting last Saturday.
Of the newly confirmed cases, 93 were local transmissions, and 20 were imported.
The new infections have been concentrated in the capital region, with Seoul, Gyeonggi-do Province, and Incheon city seeing a combined 76 cases.
There were 6 additional deaths, bringing the total to 4-hundred-13.
Cluster infections are constantly popping up from various spots like hospitals, music academies, as well as university campuses.
