"美 캘리포니아, 2035년까지 휘발유차 신차 판매 금지"

California will ban sales of new gasoline-powered passenger cars and trucks by 2035.
This is according to California Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday.
"By 2035 in the next 15 years, we will eliminate in the state of California the sales of internal combustion engines. We will move forward to green and de-carbonize our vehicle fleet here in the state of California."
The new executive order would not ban Californians from owning gas-powered cars or selling used ones.
But it would end the sales of all new gasoline-powered passenger cars and trucks.
The bold announcement comes after the state has seen weeks of unprecedented wildfires, prompting calls for action against climate change.
At least 15 other countries have already made similar pledges to phase out gas-powered cars, including Germany, France and Norway.
