New research shows COVID-19 cannot be destroyed easily as it's highly elastic and highly heat resist.
A research team from Hungary's Semmelweis University say they've pinched the complete virus particle that measures 80 nanometers wide.
As it was pinched one-hundred times, the virion was squashed then it immediately rebounded as the needle left.
They also held a heat resistance test by heating the viral particle to 90 degrees Celsius for ten minutes.
The particle's appearance was only slightly altered with its overall structure remaining intact.
