'폭발참사 불과 한달 됐는데'…레바논 베이루트 항구서 큰불

It's time now for our Friday edition of Arirang's 'The World Now'. I'm Kim Jae-hee.
We begin with a huge blaze that erupted in Beirut's port on Thursday, just over one month after a devastating explosion there... killed nearly two hundred people and injured thousands.
Videos on social media showed a warehouse engulfed in flames, sending thick black smoke into the sky.
Streets surrounding the port were emptied as firefighters rushed to the scene and army helicopters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire reportedly broke out at the duty-free zone in the port, in a warehouse storing cooking oil.
Beirut residents, still reeling from last month's blast, expressed their dismay and anger that another disaster was unfolding in their city.
"I live some 500 meters from this fire. I had to take my wife and children out of Beirut because of this, since they are still living in fear after what happened before."
"It has been a month since the explosion. This state will not rise because this state is run by thieves."
Thursday's blast was the second fire at the port this week.
On Tuesday, a small fire broke out, that was quickly extinguished.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun in a meeting with top officials on Thursday, tweeted that the fire may have been the result of sabotage, a technical error or negligence.
He wrote that the perpetrators must be held to account.
