N. Korea, China forged deeper ties after COVID-19 outbreak: Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Thursday to mark the seventy-second anniversary of the establishment of the North Korean regime.
According to the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency, Xi said... the two sides have forged even deeper ties since the coronavirus outbreak... and stressed further strengthening bilateral relations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also sent a congratulatory message.
He said Moscow and Pyeongyang are traditionally close... and their cooperation and communication helps ensure security in the region.
