S. Korea's First Vice FM to meet U.S. counterpart Stephen Biegun in Washington on Thursday

South Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister Choi Jong-kun will meet U.S. counterpart Stephen Biegun this Thursday for talks.
Seoul's foreign ministry announced Tuesday that Choi will head to Washington on Wednesday morning where the two sides are expected to discuss certain bilateral and regional issues.
Likely to be on the agenda...are the stalled defense cost-sharing negotiations,... as well as South Korea joining the G7 Summit.
Rising tensions between the U.S. and China are also expected to be discussed.
The visit comes following an invitation from Biegun during a phone call last week...and will be their first face-to-face meeting since Choi took office last month.
