위스콘신 시위 격화, 심야 총격에 2명 사망... 17세 청소년 체포

It's time now for our Thursday edition of Arirang's 'The World Now'. I'm Kim Jae-hee.
Let's start off with some updates on the ongoing protests in the U.S. over the shooting of a black man by Wisconsin police.
A third night of violent protests erupted into gun violence that left two people dead and one person injured.
A 17-year-old teenage suspect from Illinois was taken into custody Wednesday morning.
Protests have been raging for several nights, after 29-year-old Jacob Blake was shot multiple times in the back by police on Sunday... as he fought off officers trying to arrest him and attempted to get into his car with his young sons inside.
Videos on social media showed protests turning into chaos on Tuesday, with people running and shouting amid gunfire.
"The gunman fired off a few, fired off multiple rounds and he hit that one person that was attacking him in the arm at point blank range. So obviously, people were scattering."
Wisconsin's governor has declared a state of emergency.
Blake's family is calling for peaceful protests, condemning the destruction the demonstrations have brought over the past nights.
