Iran has agreed to grant International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors access to two sites suspected of once having conducted nuclear activities.
A joint statement on Wednesday said Iran is "voluntarily" providing access, and IAEA does not have further request for access to locations.
The breakthrough ends a months-long standoff.
European powers and the U.S. have long pushed Iran to cooperate with a probe by the IAEA, which Tehran has repeatedly denied.
Granting access to the sites could help the Iranian regime deflect pressure from Washington, which is attempting to re-impose sanctions against Iran.
