England batsman Zak Crawley scored a century against Pakistan on the first day of the third Test being played at Southampton. This is the first century of Crowley's career. The special thing is that he is the first English batsman to score a century in the last 4 years at home, batting at number three. Before him, Joe Root, the current captain of the team, did so.

इंग्लैंड के बल्लेबाज जैक क्रॉली ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ साउथैम्पटन में खेले जा रहे तीसरे टेस्ट के पहले दिन शतक लगा दिया। क्रॉली के करियर का यह पहला शतक है। खास बात है कि वे तीसरे नंबर पर बल्लेबाजी करते हुए घरेलू मैदान पिछले 4 साल में शतक लगाने वाले पहले इंग्लिश बल्लेबाज हैं। उनसे पहले टीम के मौजूदा कप्तान जो रूट ने ऐसा किया था। रूट ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ ही 2016 में मैनचेस्टर के मैदान पर 254 रनों की पारी खेली थी। ओवरऑल की बात करें तो तीसरे नंबर इंग्लैंड के लिए दो साल बाद किसी बल्लेबाज ने शतक लगाया है। पिछली बार जॉनी बेयरस्टो ने 2018 में श्रीलंका के खिलाफ कोलंबो में 110 रन बनाए थे।
