Senators Oppose Raila Position To Support CRA Recommendations

A standoff is once again looming at the senate as senators faceoff over the proposed third basis formula for revenue allocation Tuesday. Aggrieved senators whose county budget has been slashed in the new formula are still up in arms with their gaining counterparts claiming the new formula disenfranchises development in their region. And as our political affairs reporter Jeff Khaemba reports, the new formula has attracted a political battle with ODM party boss Raila Odinga supporting recommendation by the commission for revenue allocation (CRA) as opposed to deputy president William Ruto's allies.
