The U.S. embassy in South Korea is partially resuming visa issuance services from Monday.
The services were stopped in March at most of its diplomatic missions overseas in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The services will be limited to applicants for “F, M, and J non-immigrant visa” concerning students and partakers of exchange programs.
The embassy warned of lengthy wait times due to substantial backlogs,... but vowed to process the applications as quickly as they can.
