China thanks S. Korea for condolence message over heavy rain damage

Chinese leader Xi Jinping has thanked South Korean President Moon Jae-in for his condolence message over recent heavy rain damage in China.
The Blue House said on Saturday that in a letter to Moon, Xi expressed his sincere gratitude for the message of warm condolence.
He also added comforting words for recent heavy rain and landslides in parts of South Korea.
The Chinese president also noted that Seoul and Beijing have shown high levels of bilateral relations through cooperative COVID-19 quarantine efforts.
The South Korean president last week told his Chinese counterpart,... that he wished for China's quick recovery from the recent heavy downpour damage.
