Bee Farmers Receive Grants From The World Bank

A thousand youth, vulnerable women and indigenous people in two entrepreneurial groups in Nakuru county have received a three million shillings grant from the world bank to expand their bee keeping enterprises in a bid for jobs and wealth creation. The Ogiek Run Mariashoni community development society and Hifadhi cooperative society have in the last three months received 1.5 million shillings each to help expand the bee value chain in high potential areas in Molo and Naivasha sub counties.
