South Korea saw more deaths than births for the sixth consecutive month in April.
Data from Statistics Korea on Wednesday showed,... that 23-thousand-420 infants were born in April,... while 24-thousand-628 people died.
The number of births in April dropped more than 10 percent from the same month last year,... whereas deaths were up more than three percent.
The number of births has been falling on-year for 53 months in a row.
Meanwhile, the number of marriages was down almost 22 percent on-year, with the COVID-19 outbreak exacerbating the general trend of fewer marriages.
