Mombasa political leaders are up in arms with transport and infrastructure cabinet secretary James Macharia over the recent move to use the standard gauge railway (SGR) to transport cargo from Mombasa to Naivasha .Nyali Mp Mohammed Ali has tabled a motion for the ouster of the cs, however, Mvita Mp Abdulswamad Sharrif Nassir has distanced himself from the motion saying he already pushed a different motion that seek to provide a conducive working environment for coastal transporters.
