Thousands of mourners stand in line at The Fountain of Praise church in Houston on Monday to pay their respects to George Floyd.
It's the final memorial that is open for the public.
Visitors were wearing masks and maintaining distance from each other to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Floyd's brother, Philonise Floyd, made a statement at the visitation ceremony.
"It just hurts a lot just being here, talking. Just pain. Thank you all, so much for coming out to support us."
The families of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, and other victims of racism and police brutality, attended the service.
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden and Texas Governor Greg Abbott also met the family of George Floyd to express solidarity.
Governor Abbott hinted that there could be a George Floyd Act to prevent police brutality in Texas.
As protests are ongoing nationwide, many stores that have been looted are worried about recovering from the damage.
A sports store owner in New York expressed his concerns.
"The televisions, cameras everything I've installed in here, the interior it's all smashed up. Almost a million dollars gone in just one morning. It's so disappointing. I never imagined this could happen."
Meanwhile, things are quietening down in Los Angeles, and the National Guard left LA's Koreatown and some other parts of the city on Monday.
