S. Korean gov't plans to provide US$ 138 mil. of spending coupons in second half of year

In the second half of the year, the South Korean government plans to issue 1-hundred-38-million U.S. dollars of spending coupons to boost local consumption.
officials say the coupons will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis and will cover eight categories... including accommodation, travel, performances, movie tickets, and dining out.
One million people who reserve accommodation online will receive coupons worth around 33 dollars.
And 6-million people who buy certain food products will receive a 20-percent discount.
The government expects the coupons to create 7-hundred-36 million dollars of benefits to the economy.
