More depressing news for jobseekers in the United States.
The unemployment rate in the U.S. could possibly stay in the double digits through November.
Senior White House economic advisor Kevin Hassett said on Sunday that the unemployment rate could be "north of 20 percent" in May but it will start to trend down after reaching a peak in June.
However, he hinted some optimism that vaccines in July may shake things up.
The U.S. unemployment rate already hit nearly 15 percent last month due to the pandemic.
