시민들 문화생활 즐기기 가능케 하는 방역조치들... 좌석 간 거리두기, 관람 인원 수 제한두기

With social distancing in daily lives now in place in South Korea,... some citizens are beginning to leave their homes and enjoy cultural activities such as live performances and museum attractions. To prevent cluster infections, performance and arts centers are asking visitors to follow certain safety guidelines. Our Kim Bo-kyoung tells us more.
A group of people, waiting to enter this performance hall, are filling out health questionnaires which ask whether they have any COVID-19 symptoms.
Then, they get their temperatures checked before being allowed to go inside.
Such measures are to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with the nation practicing the eased social distancing measures known as 'social distancing in daily lives'.
"Our performance hall asks visitors to follow general preventive measures. On top of that, they have to sit one seat apart from others when inside to reduce the risk of infection through contact or droplets in the air."
People feel relieved by such preventive measures being in place.
"Actually we hesitated a lot before coming to see the performance today,… but I felt reassured seeing how people are filling out the questionnaires, sanitizing their hands and how we are getting our temperatures checked before we go in."
Museums are no exception.
On top of checking visitors' temperatures, museums are only allowing a certain number of visitors in at any one time.
"The National Museum of Korea is restricting the number of people who can enter to 300 each hour for safety reasons using an online reservation system."
Minimizing contact between people also plays a key role.
"Those who booked in advance can enter right away after showing the QR code and those who didn't buy tickets can get them from the machine on site."
Some foreign tourists say that these measures let them enjoy cultural attractions whilst at the same time being safe.
"I feel like it is so good thing to do with only having 300 people going in for an hour or something like that I really enjoy that and it is a good way to prevent the virus as well but still getting able to see culture and history which is very nice."
With people following the preventive measures closely,... they can safely enjoy a rich cultural life.
