The South Korean government will allow citizens to buy 3 protective face masks a week... instead of two... starting today... as domestic supplies have stabilized.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said last Friday that they are loosening the purchase limits due to steady stock of the masks.
However, the ministry will still maintain the 5-day rotation system.
Officials add that they will continue with the new distribution system if there is no apparent shortage of face masks after this week.
