The South Korean government is gradually reopening the civil service examinations that were postponed due to COVID-19 fears.
The Ministry of Personnel Management announced on Wednesday that exams for grades 5, 7 and 9 public officials will be resumed as early as next month.
Tests for grade 5 and diplomat candidates will be held on May 16th, grade 9 on July 11th, and grade 7 on September 26th.
For safety reasons, fewer people will be able to take the exams and exam takers will be required to wear masks and have their body temperature checked before entering the exam site.
