Number of COVID-19 cases in U.S. makes up 30% of world total, 47 new cases in China

COVID-19 continues to spread around the world.
The number of coronavirus patients in the United States represents around 30 percent of all cases around the world. The U.S. has reported 605-thousand-193 total confirmed cases and 25-thousand-757 deaths as of Tuesday local time according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University. New infections have been on the decline for a fourth straight day but the U.S. recorded the most coronavirus deaths in a single day with more than 1,800 fatalities reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, China is still reporting new cases of COVID-19. Its National Health Commission reported 46 new confirmed patients, 1 death, and 57 asymptomatic patients on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 36 were imported.
