S. Korea's exports fall 19% y/y in first 10 days of April

South Korean exports plunged roughly 19 percent in the first 10 days of April compared to the same period last year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the Korea Customs Service on Monday, outbound shipments for the first 10 days of April fell 18-point-6 percent on-year to 12-point-2 billion U.S. dollars.
Exports of petroleum products tumbled nearly 48 percent.
Automobile parts over 30 percent.
However, South Korea's ICT exports increased for the second consecutive month in March.
The country recorded 16 billion dollars of ICT exports in March, up 1-point-1 percent on-year.
