Frankie is an all-time favourite and tasty snacks of kids and youngsters. This Chicken Frankie recipe has the smokey flavour of charcoal and hot & spicy taste of chutneys in it. This recipe can be prepared for snacks and also given in tiffins to kids.

Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
For Preparing Green Chutney:
- 1/4 cup Curd
- 1 tsp Garlic-Ginger Paste
- Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves
- Salt

For Preparing Smokey Chicken Frankie:
- 250 gms Chicken (boneless)
- Green Chutney
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Cream
- Salt

For Preparing Red Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 cup Red Chutney
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 2 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
- Salt

For Preparing Frankie Roti:
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 1 cup All-purpose Four (Maida)
- Salt

For Preparing Smokey Chicken Frankie:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Marinated Chicken
- 1 Charcoal
- Onion (sliced)
- Cucumber (sliced)

Method:
1. Take boneless chicken in a bowl, add green chutney, coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, garam masala, chaat masala, black pepper powder, white pepper powder, lemon juice, cream and salt to it.
2. Mix all these ingredients properly. Keep the bowl aside to marinate for 1-2 hours.
3. To prepare red chutney- take finely chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic cloves, ginger and curd in a grinder ad blend it well.
4. Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, red chutney, chaat masala, tamarind pulp and salt. Saute this well.
5. Once it is cooked properly, turn off the flame and remove the red chutney in a bowl.
6. Take another pan, heat oil and add marinated chicken to it. Fry this in the pan for few minutes.
7. Take coal and heat it on gas to burn it.
8. Put a small bowl in the middle of the marinated chicken pan and drop the heated charcoal in it.
9. Pour some oil on the charcoal and finally cover the pan with a lid.
10. Keep it like that for a few minutes and then remove the lid. Mix the chicken well, once it is cooked turn off the flame.
11. Now prepare a dough - 1 cup Wheat Flour, 1 cup All-purpose flour (Maida), Salt.
Make rolls of the dough to prepare roti. Pat some oil on it and all-purpose flour.
12. Turn on flame, put Tawa to heat, keep the roti on it to cook. Once roti is made, remove it in a plate.
13. Take the roti, spread some mayonnaise & red chutney. Add the smokey chicken, sliced onion and sliced cucumber to it.
14. Roll this roti properly. Similarly, make Frankie of other roti as well.
Now your Smokey Chicken Frankie is ready to be served!
