Good morning. Korea's central inland regions, including Daejeon, are waking up to a snowy Tuesday morning. Those inland areas and mountainous regions on Jeju are expected to see one centimeter of snow this morning so drive with extra care.
In fact, temperatures plunged over night with a cold wave advisory being issued on central regions... Seoraksan mountain saw lows plummeting to minus 15.2 degrees Celsius, Seoul at minus 4 degrees but the cold wind is making it feel like minus 6 degrees out there. Dress warmly
Chuncheon is at minus 5 degrees, low single digits to start the day in most areas with more sunshine in store today.
Highs will also be on chillier side. Do stay bundled up. Seoul will see a high of 4 degrees, Jeju at 12 degrees this afternoon.
It's shaping up to be even colder tomorrow morning. The cold snap will stick around until Thursday afternoon.
