Now we turn to Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates. Michelle, it looks like we're going to have to dress a lot warmer tomorrow. In a lot of places it'll be below zero.
Daniel, bitter cold is in the forecast tonight. More regions will come under the cold wave alert after 11 PM, and these colored regions are expected to fall 10 degrees or more just overnight.
But by Wednesday afternoon, the mercury in the southern areas is expected to reach double-digit highs,... whereas, Seoul and other cities farther north will be under 5 degrees Celsius.
The cold is not exclusive to Korea, though. Beijing will also have a cold day, but Tokyo, will still be warmer than Busan under rainy skies.
With the weather suddenly changing, make sure to take good care of yourselves. Seoul starts the morning at minus 4 degrees Celsius,... Daegu at minus 2 and Gyeongju at zero degrees.
Depending where you are, the daily highs will be 3 to 10 degrees lower than today,... with Seoul reaching up to only 4 degrees, while Busan and Jeju are still pretty comfortable at 15 and 11 degrees respectively.
However, it'll get even colder as we get closer to the weekend,... Seoul plunging to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the cold front will bring a band of showers across the country.
