South Korea's foreign exchange market will open one hour later next Thursday due to the College Scholastic Ability Test,... or Sooneung in Korean.
The inter-bank exchange market will open at 10 AM, but will close at the usual time of 3:30 PM.
This is to ease the morning rush hour traffic for students who need to go to their designated schools to take the college entrance exam.
Korea's major stock markets will also open and close an hour later than usual from 10 AM to 4:30 PM on Thursday.
