Tourette syndrome qualifies for disability benefits: S. Korean Supreme Court

People with tic disorders, such as Tourette syndrome, will now be protected under Korea disability laws.
The Supreme Court ruled today that a disability rating must be assigned to people with such disorders to enable them to get benefits from the state.
The court's ruling came after a lawsuit filed by a person with Tourette syndrome who'd sued a county administration for rejecting his application to be considered disabled.
The top court said the county has to assign the person the disability rating closest to the severity of his condition.
