Facebook suspends Russian Instagram accounts targeting U.S. voters

Facebook has suspended a network of Russian Instagram accounts that targeted American voters with divisive political messages.
Facebook also said on Monday that it had also deleted three separate networks operated from Iran.
According to the social media giant, the Russian network "showed some links" to Russia's Internet Research Agency...an organization Washington has said was used by the Kremlin to meddle in the 2016 U.S. election.
In a bid to fight foreign interference and misinformation ahead of the 2020 election, Facebook and U.S. security officials are on high alert for signs of foreign influence campaigns on social media.
Moscow and Tehran have repeatedly denied the allegations.
