APEC confirms President Moon's participation next month in Chile

South Korean President Moon Jae-in will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum next month in Chile.
The executive office of APEC posted on its website that President Moon will attend the high-profile meeting from the 16th for two days in Santiago in what would be his first visit to the South American country since taking office in 2017.
Russia's Vladimir Putin and China's Xi Jinping have already confirmed they'll be at the event, but the leaders of the U.S. and Japan haven't yet notified APEC of whether they will participate.
