Joint drills are good for both South Korea and the U.S.: Berger

U.S. Marine Corps commandant David H. Berger says,... South Korean and U.S. troops are continuing to train together and that doing so is good for both sides.
Speaking at a seminar at the Heritage Foundation think tank in Washington, D.C., Berger said,... the exercises stopped briefly for a year but resumed after that,... and that both sides also plan to train together this fall.
Since the North Korea-U.S. summit in Singapore in June of last year,... Seoul and Washington have postponed or downsized their joint drills.
