Typhoon Mitag to arrive on Korean Peninsula earlier than expected

The season's 18th typhoon 'Mitag' will make an earlier than expected landfall on the southwestern coast of the Korean Peninsula,... due to changes in regional atmospheric pressure.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration,... the typhoon will pass over the nation's southwestern regions before exiting to the East Sea on Thursday afternoon, local time.
The weather agency has issued heavy rain warnings for Jeju and the southwestern provinces of Jeolla-do,... forecasting 100 to 300 millimeters of rainfall through Thursday.
Seoul is forecast to receive anywhere between 30 to 80 millimeters of rain.
