Cases of vaping-related illnesses up 52% in the U.S.: CDC

The number of confirmed or suspected cases of vaping-related illnesses has risen to 805 in 46 states and one U.S. territory,... as U.S. health authorities advise people to stop using e-cigarettes and other vaping devices.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday,... the number of cases was up 52-percent from the past week.
The latest numbers include 10 deaths.
While no single ingredient or additive has been implicated,... most of the problematic products are believed to be black-market products or those that include THC,... the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana.
A large percentage of the illnesses reported have been in young people.
