Samsung introduces 'industry's first' 0.7μm-pixel mobile image sensor

Samsung has announced a new image sensor for smartphones that it claims has the smallest pixel size in the industry at point-seven micrometers.
The South Korean tech giant said today that its Isocell Slim GH1 allows for nearly 44 million pixels to fit in a tiny package, making it optimal for devices that require ultra-high resolution and slim displays.
Usually, smaller pixels mean less vividness,… as they absorb limited amount of light.
But Samsung says its latest technology overcomes this problem, allowing for brighter and sharper images.
