Chillier morning, big rise in temperatures

Good morning, we are waking up to a chillier morning so dress warmly. Daegwallyeong in Gangwon-do Province is waking up to mid single digit morning lows, in fact, mountainous regions in Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do Provinces could see the first frost of the season this morning. However, daily highs will rise fast to the mid twenties so be aware of big temperature gaps.

Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, morning lows are 2 to 5 degrees Celsius lower than yesterday, ranging between 12 to 19 degrees, inland regions are waking up to thick layers of fog. Take care on the roads.

Clear skies will boost the highs well into the mid-twenties. Most regions will see highs going up to 26 degrees Celsius this afternoon.

Typical autumn weather persists for the rest of week with a good amount of sunshine, while the country's southern regions and Jeju will see rain at the end of the week.
