Seoul has the sixth most expensive grocery prices in the world... higher than those of New York and Tokyo.
This is according to global database Numbeo, which analyzes the grocery prices of 377 cities,... comparing prices of staple items like a carton of milk and a loaf of bread.
Seoul stands at one-hundred-one points - nine notches up from last year and the figure is roughly five-percent higher than New York.
New York and Tokyo were placed seventh and 15th respectively.
The five cities with the most expensive groceries were all in Switzerland, with Zurich topping the list.
