At least six people are dead and over thirty-five hundred have been evacuated as torrential rain continues to batter Southern Spain.
Authorities said Saturday that the extreme rain has led to widespread flooding,... raising the death toll to six.
Thousands of people have been affected by the record rainfall over the coastal areas of Valencia, Murcia and Andalusia last week,... which has flooded roads and tunnels,... and swept away cars on the streets.
Airports, rail lines and major roads have been closed.
Police and emergency workers are helping those in need, with 15-hundred soldiers also involved in rescue efforts.
