President Trump might also be sitting down with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un for another round of denuclearization talks sometime this year.
When asked Thursday whether he will be meeting Kim again this year, Trump said that at some point he will.
He'd said previously that meetings are a good thing after North Korea indicated that it would be willing to meet again later this month.
Trump has also now fired his hawkish national security adviser John Bolton for comments Trump saw as antagonizing North Korea, which is a move analysts think makes a meeting more likely.
