Time now for our "Life & Info" segment... where we focus on information useful for your everyday life.
We begin with damage relief measures by the government for businesses affected by Typhoon Lingling, the 5th most powerful typhoon to hit South Korea since the 1950s.
The Korea Development Bank and the Industrial Bank of Korea have decided to postpone loan repayments by up to one year for companies affected by the storm.
Commercial banks have also proposed plans for recovery loans at low interest rates.
The National Tax Service is also offering assistance with taxes.
It will extend the tax due date for a maximum of nine months for those that apply.
Those affected by the typhoon can apply for assistance on the National Tax Service's website.
