Hanwha Systems to export key processor unit for warships to the Philippines

South Korean defense firm Hanwha Systems says it has signed a deal with the Philippines' defense department to export a key processor for warships.
In a deal worth about twenty-five million U.S. dollars, the firm will provide the processor to three Filipino warships.
Similar to a central processing unit in computers, this processor connects all other networking systems of a warship.
Hanwha Systems is also exporting other high-tech equipment for such vessels.
It says it plans to increase overseas sales.
