President Moon Jae-in will embark on a week-long trip to Southeast Asian nations next month.
Starting on September 1st until the 6th, the President will be in Thailand,... followed by state visits to Myanmar and Laos.
Through his trip,... the president hopes to promote his 'New Southern Policy' that calls for closer ties with Southeast Asian countries.
This come ahead of a special meeting between South Korea and ASEAN member states,... as well as the inaugural Korea-Mekong summit,... both to be held in November.
By completing his latest diplomatic tour,... President Moon will have fulfilled his promise of visiting all ten Southeast Asian nations during his term.
