N. Korea's FM slams Pompeo for remarks on maintaining U.S. sanctions on regime

North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho has personally lashed out at his U.S. counterpart.
In a statement on Friday, Ri expressed anger at U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for that America will keep its strongest-ever sanctions on North Korea in place... to show the North that denuclearization is the right path.
Pompeo's comments, Ri said, came when working-level talks were looking possible,... and he accused Pompeo of hindering rather than helping the talks.
The North, he added, is prepared for both dialogue and confrontation... and will remain the biggest threat to America if the sanctions stay.
