Mass candlelight rally to take place in Seoul in protest of Japan’s whitelist decision
  • 5 years ago
In protest of Japan's latest trade action, local civic groups will hold a large candlelight rally on Saturday night.
They will meet in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul... and organizers expect some 5-thousand citizens to participate.
The groups says Japan is threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula... and that its decision to remove South Korea from its whitelist is a form of "economic invasion".
They are calling on a new bilateral relationship... upon Japan's sincere apology and reflection on its history.
