The wreckage of the French submarine Minerve, which sank more than 50 years ago with 52 crew members on board, has finally been found.
According to a statement by the French Defense Minister,... the discovery was made possible using "recent technological advances in underwater exploration, including the use of new sonars and research drones".
The French Navy says the wreckage will stay where it is,... some 45 kilometers off the southern coast of France,... to serve as the sailors' final resting place.
