Good morning. What a muggy night and it started to rain heavily here in Seoul about an hour ago. Meanwhile, southern provinces have been seeing heavy showers.

Southern coastal regions are forecast see up to 250 millimeters of rain. Jeju and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province could receive 30 to 80 millimeters. Upper regions will see more passing showers so...wherever you go take along an umbrella.

In fact, parts of Jeollanam-do Province and mountainous regions of Jeju are experiencing heavy rainfall and are under a rain advisory. Be aware of the condition and drive carefully. Meanwhile, Seoul and parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi-do Provinces are under a heat advisory.

Even this morning feels warm and very humid, at 24 degrees on Jeju and 23 degrees in Seoul.

Daily highs will be in the twenties for rain affected areas, but a lot hotter for upper regions with an expected high of 33 degrees in Seoul and Chuncheon.
