외교부 경제담당 국장 미국행... 일본 수출규제 논의

A senior South Korean diplomat in charge of economic affairs is heading to the U.S. today to discuss the Japan trade restrictions.
On Thursday, local time, the director-general for bilateral economic affairs, Kim Hee-sang, will meet with a senior official at the State Department.
That's Roland de Marcellus, acting deputy assistant secretary for international finance and development.
Originally, they were going to meet to prepare for high level economic talks between South Korea and the U.S., but now it's highly likely that they'll be talking about Japan too.
Kim is also scheduled to meet with Marc Knapper, the deputy assistant secretary for Korea and Japan.
